About Alice

Alice Madden is an accomplished lawyer, lawmaker, and tireless advocate for Colorado. Viewed as the architect of the progressive resurgence in Colorado, she rose to be the first Democratic House Majority Leader in a generation. She worked with both parties to get healthcare coverage for thousands of children, fund schools, and put Colorado on the path to be a leader in clean energy.

Following her term as Majority Leader, Alice worked with the Obama Administration in the Department of Energy to combat climate change and other threats to our environment.

Alice is married to Pete Madden, and is a mother of two children. She and her family live in Louisville.
